PULLMAN – Efficient utilization of timber and biomass residues for alternative fuels and other products will be the focus of the free webinar “Adding Value to Woody Biomass,” 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, at breeze.wsu.edu/research_that_works_for_you.
The presentation is part of the WSU Extension’s webinar series, “Research that Works for You.”
Researcher and WSU Extension specialist Vikram Yadama and assistant research professor Karl Englund, both from the WSU Composite Materials and Engineering Center, will present the webinar. “As the nation and the world are looking to biomass as an alternative source of fuel and power the role of our forests has taken on a new perspective,” Yadama said. “Efficient utilization of our timber and biomass residues is critical to creating sustainable forests for the future.” [Read more…]
