Future Graduate Students
The current scope of CMEC is wood and polymeric materials discovery and processing; biofuels and biochemicals; and design and codes/standards. New expanded focus will include broader aspects of the built environment including carbon management, off-site construction, manufacturing automation, virtual/augmented reality, and advanced design. This will allow us to address societal challenges such as de-carbonizing the built environment, affordable & equitable housing, indoor AQ and occupant health, advanced design and digital manufacturing, and workforce development.
