Ten WSU faculty have been elected to the Washington State Academy of Sciences and come from a range of disciplines including animal science, cropping systems, engineering, information ethics, genome engineering, and psychology. Michael Wolcott, Professor and VP of Research, is recognized for his exemplary scientific contributions and policy development to enable biobased materials, chemicals, and fuels leading to the development and commercialization of advanced materials and fuels, improving performance while reducing costs and environmental burdens.
